Tele-Sales Executive - Job Description
I. Job Summary
The Tele-Sales Executive is responsible for marketing and selling the company's products and services over the phone to customers, with the primary goal of achieving predetermined Sales Targets. This role reports directly to the Head of Tele-Sales Executive. The main duty is to operate in adherence to the guidance of the Head of Tele-Sales Executive, conducting persuasive sales conversations with prospective customers (Leads) and successfully securing orders.
II. Key Responsibilities and Adherence to Guidance
A. Reporting to the Head of Tele-Sales Executive
• Adherence to Guidance: Operate in adherence to the guidance provided by the Head of Tele-Sales Executive regarding all sales strategies, call scripts, and performance standards.
• Sales Reporting: Provide the Head of Tele-Sales Executive with daily sales reports covering the number of calls made, new leads generated, successful sales closed, and the status of the sales pipeline.
• Escalation of Issues: Immediately inform the Head of Tele-Sales Executive about any roadblocks in the sales process, marketing challenges, or critical customer objections.
B. Tele-Sales Operations
• Lead Generation/Contact: Identify and contact prospective customers (Leads) via telephone from the database or list provided by the company.
• Product Presentation: Clearly and confidently explain the features, benefits, and pricing of the company's products or services to potential customers.
• Closing Sales: Answer customer questions, resolve their concerns, and successfully persuade the customer to place an order, thereby closing the sale.
• Cross-selling and Up-selling: Attempt to sell additional relevant services or upgraded products to existing customers where appropriate.
C. Target Achievement and Performance
• Target Attainment: Ensure the continuous meeting or exceeding of individual monthly and quarterly Sales Targets.
• Quality Management: Ensure all calls adhere to company standards, guaranteeing a positive customer experience and high sales quality.
D. Data Recording and System Maintenance
• CRM Logging: Accurately and immediately log every customer interaction, conversation detail, reason for objection, and progress in the sales pipeline within the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
• Information Update: Ensure customer data is accurate and up-to-date.
III. General Responsibilities
• Market Knowledge: Maintain basic knowledge of competitors, market trends, and customer needs.
• Compliance: Ensure that no legal or regulatory rules are violated during the sales process.
