முக்கியப் பொறுப்புகள் (Core Responsibilities)
1. தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப உத்தி மற்றும் திட்டமிடல் (IT Strategy and Planning)
• மூலோபாயத் தலைமை: தளவாடங்கள் (Logistics), கிடங்கு மேலாண்மை (Warehouse Management), போக்குவரத்து மேலாண்மை அமைப்புகள் (TMS) மற்றும் சங்கிலி விநியோகச் செயல்பாடுகள் ஆகியவற்றை மேம்படுத்துவதற்குத் தேவையான தொழில்நுட்ப உத்திகளை உருவாக்குதல் மற்றும் செயல்படுத்துதல்.
• பட்ஜெட் மேலாண்மை: ஐடி துறைக்கான வருடாந்திரச் செலவு மற்றும் மூலதனச் செலவு (Capex) பட்ஜெட்டைத் தயாரித்தல், நிர்வகித்தல் மற்றும் செலவினங்களைக் கண்காணித்தல்.

• பாதுகாப்பு உத்தி: லாஜிஸ்டிக்ஸ் தரவுகள், வாடிக்கையாளர் தகவல்கள் மற்றும் நிறுவனத்தின் டிஜிட்டல் சொத்துகளைப் பாதுகாக்க விரிவான சைபர் பாதுகாப்புக் கொள்கைகள் மற்றும் நடைமுறைகளை உருவாக்குதல், நிர்வகித்தல்.

Job Summary
The IT General Manager is a senior executive responsible for leading and managing the organization's overall Information Technology strategy, operations, and security. This role oversees all technological solutions (Software, Hardware, Network, and Applications) supporting logistics functions and ensures their alignment with the company's core business objectives.
Core Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy and Planning
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps required to enhance logistics, warehouse management (WMS), transport management systems (TMS), and supply chain operations.
• Budget Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual operational expenditure (Opex) and capital expenditure (Capex) budgets for the IT department.
2. Operations Management
• System Uptime: Ensure the seamless operation and optimal performance of all core IT systems utilized across the organization (ERP, WMS, TMS, Fleet Tracking Systems).
• Service Level: Guarantee high availability and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all critical applications and network infrastructure.
• Project Management: Lead and manage technical projects, from inception to completion, including new software implementations, system upgrades, and infrastructure rollouts.
3. Cybersecurity and Compliance
• Security Strategy: Develop and manage comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect logistics data, customer information, and the company's digital assets.
• Data Integrity: Ensure the effective functioning of data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all IT operations and data handling comply with relevant data protection laws and regulatory standards.
4. Infrastructure and Network
• Network Oversight: Manage and optimize the network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, Cloud) across all logistics hubs, branches, and warehouses.
• Procurement: Lead the procurement process for all hardware, software licenses, and technical equipment, ensuring optimal cost and quality.
5. Vendor and Team Management
• Vendor Relationships: Negotiate and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and service providers.
• Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and review the performance of IT staff, fostering a highly skilled and productive IT department.
