நிறுவனத்தின் அன்றாட கணக்கியல் செயல்பாடுகளை நிர்வகித்தல், நிதி அறிக்கைகளைத் தயாரித்தல் மற்றும் துல்லியமான நிதிப் பதிவேடுகளைப் பராமரித்தல். தளவாடத் துறைக்கான செலவு பகுப்பாய்வு (Cost Analysis) மற்றும் செயல்பாட்டு செயல்திறன் அறிக்கைகளில் முக்கியப் பங்காற்றுதல். இந்த ஊழியர் தலைமை கணக்காளர் (Chief Accountant) அல்லது நிதி மேலாளருக்கு (Finance Manager) அறிக்கை சமர்ப்பிப்பார்.
முதன்மைப் பொறுப்புகள் (Core Responsibilities)
1. நிதி அறிக்கை மற்றும் மூடல் (Financial Reporting and Close)
• நிதி முடக்கம்: மாதாந்திர, காலாண்டு மற்றும் ஆண்டு நிதி முடக்கம் (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Close) செயல்முறைகளைத் துல்லியமாகவும் சரியான காலக்கெடுவுக்குள்ளும் முடிப்பதற்குத் தலைமை தாங்குதல்.
• அறிக்கை தயாரிப்பு: நிறுவனத்தின் நிதிநிலை அறிக்கைகள் (Balance Sheet), இலாப நட்டக் கணக்கு (P&L Statement) மற்றும் பணப்புழக்க அறிக்கைகளை (Cash Flow Statements) இந்திய கணக்கியல் தரநிலைகளின்படி (Ind AS) தயாரித்துச் சமர்ப்பித்தல்.
2. பொதுப் பேரேடு மற்றும் இணக்கம் (General Ledger and Compliance)
• பேரேடு சரிபார்ப்பு: பொதுப் பேரேட்டுக் கணக்குகளை (General Ledger Accounts) மாதாந்திர அடிப்படையில் சரிபார்த்தல் (Reconciliation) மற்றும் நிலுவைகளைச் சமநிலைப்படுத்துதல்.
• பற்று/வரவுப் பதிவுகள்: சிக்கலான பற்று மற்றும் வரவுப் பதிவுகளை (Journal Entries) உருவாக்கி, தளவாடங்கள் தொடர்பான அனைத்துப் பரிவர்த்தனைகளும் சரியாகப் பதிவு செய்யப்படுவதை உறுதி செய்தல்.
• வரி மற்றும் சட்ட இணக்கம்: சரக்கு மற்றும் சேவை வரி (GST), மூலத்தில் வரிப் பிடித்தம் (TDS) போன்ற அனைத்து வரி மற்றும் சட்டரீதியான நிதி விதிமுறைகள் முழுமையாகப் பின்பற்றப்படுவதை உறுதி செய்தல்.
3. செலவு மற்றும் செயல்திறன் பகுப்பாய்வு (Cost and Performance Analysis)
• தளவாடச் செலவு ஆய்வு: போக்குவரத்து செலவுகள், சரக்குப் பெட்டக மேலாண்மை (Warehouse Management) செலவுகள், எரிபொருள் செலவுகள் மற்றும் பராமரிப்புச் செலவுகள் போன்றவற்றை விரிவாகப் பகுப்பாய்வு செய்தல்.
• வேறுபாட்டு அறிக்கை (Variance Reporting): உண்மையான செலவினங்களுக்கும் பட்ஜெட்டில் ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட தொகைக்கும் இடையே உள்ள வேறுபாடுகளைக் கண்டறிந்து, மேலாண்மைக்குச் செலவுக் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்கான பரிந்துரைகளை வழங்குதல்.
4. சொத்து மற்றும் முதலீட்டு மேலாண்மை (Asset and Capital Management)
• நிலைய சொத்து: வாகனங்கள், உபகரணங்கள் மற்றும் பிற நிலையான சொத்துகளின் (Fixed Assets) பதிவுகள், தேய்மானம் (Depreciation) மற்றும் விற்பனை/கைவிடுதல் தொடர்பான கணக்குகளை நிர்வகித்தல்.
• பணி மூலதனம்: வாடிக்கையாளர்களிடம் இருந்து வர வேண்டிய கணக்குகள் (Accounts Receivable) மற்றும் சப்ளையர்களுக்கு வழங்க வேண்டிய கணக்குகள் (Accounts Payable) ஆகியவற்றை மேற்பார்வையிட்டு, பணப்புழக்க மேலாண்மைக்கு உதவுதல்.
5. தணிக்கை மற்றும் வழிகாட்டுதல் (Audit and Mentorship)
• தணிக்கை ஆதரவு: வெளிப்புறத் தணிக்கையாளர்கள் (External Auditors) மற்றும் உள் தணிக்கையாளர்களுடன் (Internal Auditors) இணைந்து பணியாற்றுதல், தேவையான ஆவணங்கள் மற்றும் விளக்கங்களை வழங்குதல்.
• ஊழியர் பயிற்சி: இளைய கணக்காளர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டுதல், அவர்களுக்குப் பயிற்சி அளித்தல் மற்றும் நிறுவனத்தின் கணக்கியல் நடைமுறைகளைக் கடைப்பிடிக்க உதவுதல்.

Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the company's daily accounting operations, preparing detailed financial reports, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a crucial part in cost analysis and performance reporting specific to the logistics sector. The Senior Accountant will report to the Chief Accountant or Finance Manager.
Core Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting and Close
• Financial Close: Lead the execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes accurately and within strict deadlines.
• Statement Preparation: Prepare the company's core financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS, GAAP).
2. General Ledger and Compliance
• Ledger Reconciliation: Perform timely and thorough reconciliation of General Ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and review complex journal entries, ensuring all logistics-related transactions are properly classified and recorded.
• Tax and Statutory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to all tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.) and other statutory financial compliance requirements.
3. Cost and Performance Analysis (Logistics Specific)
• Logistics Cost Review: Conduct detailed analysis of transportation costs, warehouse management expenses, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and other operational expenditures.
• Variance Reporting: Identify and report on variances between actual expenditures and budgeted amounts, providing recommendations for cost control to management.
4. Asset and Capital Management
• Fixed Assets: Manage the accounting for Fixed Assets (vehicles, equipment, infrastructure), including depreciation schedules, additions, and disposals.
• Working Capital: Oversee processes related to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to assist in effective cash flow and working capital management.
5. Audit and Mentorship
• Audit Support: Serve as the key liaison for external and internal auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.
• Staff Guidance: Mentor and provide training to junior accounting staff, helping them adhere to established accounting policies and procedures.
