முக்கியப் பொறுப்புகள் (Core Responsibilities)
1. நிதி மூலோபாயம் மற்றும் திட்டமிடல் (Financial Strategy and Planning)
• மூலோபாயத் தலைமை: லாஜிஸ்டிக்ஸ் துறையின் போட்டித்தன்மை மற்றும் வளர்ச்சியை ஆதரிக்கும் நீண்ட கால நிதித் திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் உத்திகளை உருவாக்கி செயல்படுத்துதல்.
• மூலதன முதலீடு: புதிய வாகனங்கள், உள்கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப முதலீடுகள் (ERP அமைப்புகள்) தொடர்பான சாத்தியக்கூறு ஆய்வுகளை (Feasibility Studies) மதிப்பாய்வு செய்து முடிவெடுப்பது.
2. நிதி மேலாண்மை மற்றும் அறிக்கை சமர்ப்பிப்பு (Financial Management and Reporting)
• அறிக்கை துல்லியம்: அனைத்து மாதாந்திர மற்றும் ஆண்டு நிதி அறிக்கைகளும் (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) உள்ளூர் மற்றும் சர்வதேச கணக்கியல் தரநிலைகள் (Ind AS/IFRS) மற்றும் சட்டத் தேவைகளுக்கு இணங்குவதை உறுதி செய்தல்.
• பட்ஜெட் கட்டுப்பாடு: ஆண்டு பட்ஜெட்டைத் தயாரித்து நிர்வகித்தல். உண்மையான செயல்திறனுக்கும் பட்ஜெட்டுக்கும் இடையேயான பெரிய வேறுபாடுகளை (Variances) பகுப்பாய்வு செய்து, உரிய திருத்த நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்பார்வையிடுதல்.
3. லாஜிஸ்டிக்ஸ் செலவு மற்றும் இலாபப் பகுப்பாய்வு (Logistics Cost and Profitability Analysis)
• செயல்பாட்டுச் செலவு: சரக்குக் கட்டணம், எரிபொருள், பராமரிப்பு மற்றும் மனிதவளச் செலவுகளைக் கூர்மையாகப் பகுப்பாய்வு செய்து, செலவுக் குறைப்புக்கான வாய்ப்புகளைக் கண்டறிதல்.
• விலை நிர்ணயம் (Pricing): வாடிக்கையாளர் ஒப்பந்தங்கள் மற்றும் சேவைகளுக்கான விலையை நிர்ணயிப்பதில் நிதி அடிப்படையிலான ஆலோசனைகளை வழங்குதல் மற்றும் லாப வரம்புகளை (Profit Margins) கண்காணித்தல்.

5. சட்ட மற்றும் தணிக்கை இணக்கம் (Legal and Audit Compliance)
• சட்டப்பூர்வ இணக்கம்: அனைத்து வரிவிதிப்புகள், சுங்க வரிகள் (Customs Duties) மற்றும் தொழிலாளர் சட்டங்கள் தொடர்பான நிதி இணக்கத்தை உறுதி செய்தல்.

Job Summary
The Finance General Manager is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the company’s entire financial strategy and key executive functions. The primary focus of this role is managing financial risks associated with transportation, warehousing, supply chain costs, and capital investment. The FGM ensures the financial health and is accountable for optimizing the profitability of the logistics operations.
Core Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy and Planning
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term financial plans and strategies that support the growth and competitiveness of the logistics business.
• Capital Investment: Review and evaluate the feasibility of capital investments related to the fleet (vehicles), infrastructure (warehouses), and technology upgrades (ERP systems).
2. Financial Management and Reporting
• Reporting Accuracy: Ensure that all monthly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) are prepared accurately and comply with local and international accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS) and legal requirements.
• Budgetary Control: Oversee the preparation and management of the annual budget. Analyze significant variances between actual performance and budget, and supervise corrective actions.
3. Logistics Cost and Profitability Analysis
• Operational Costing: Conduct detailed analysis of key logistics costs, including freight charges, fuel expenses, maintenance, and labor costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Pricing Strategy: Provide finance-based advice for setting customer pricing and service contracts, and rigorously monitor profit margins across different logistics segments.
4. Risk and Cash Flow Management
• Cash Flow Management: Effectively manage working capital crucial for the logistics cycle, including overseeing credit lines and optimizing the flow of funds.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate financial risks inherent to logistics operations, including foreign exchange risk (for international operations) and insurance requirements.
5. Legal and Audit Compliance
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure stringent financial compliance with all tax regulations (e.g., GST, customs duties), corporate laws, and labor legislation.
• Audit Management: Manage both internal and external audit processes, responding to auditors' inquiries and ensuring timely implementation of audit recommendations.
